Note that the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence (BCPGV) was formerly Handgun Control Incorporated (HCI). HCI was previously the National Council to Control Handguns (NCCH). HCI also used the alias "CENTER TO PREVENT HANDGUN VIOLENCE" but now calls their lawsuit-filing branch the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence (also BCPGV). I used to live near a dishonest furniture retailer that changed its name after every "going out of business sale." But HCI makes more money from gun violence in a month than that crooked retailer made in a year.
I highly recommend that every gunowner and civil rights activist send for this free but expensive-to-print report. With any luck they will also send you details on how they plan to take *your* guns away. Of course since Handgun Control Incorporated made $5,651,337 off of gun violence in 1999, they will make darn sure that criminals are allowed to keep theirs.
HCI will send you Form 990 for free if you request it and send a 9"x12" stamped self-addressed envelope. The 38 page report requires 8 ounces worth of stamps. Send your (polite) request to:
Handgun Control Incorporated 1223 Eye Street, N.W. Room 1100 Washington, D.C. 20005
I just got mine and it is a barrel of laughs. In addition to their high-paid officers, HCI paid 5 employees more than $50,000 per year each to work 37.5 hours a week.
You can find more great gun-related links in My Bookmarks including gun safety, technical information, politics, why the Fifth Amendment allows convicted felons to ignore gun registration laws, the failures of the Brady Bill and other so-called "gun-control" laws, and gun and ammunition suppliers. Just look at the section under General > Guns.
